A summary of the event is now available, click on the relevant tab below.

Background

In these uncertain times and the recent restrictions to support social distancing, we have had numerous requests of how our EngagementHQ digital tools can be used to replace or mimic face-to-face engagement events.

Whilst many are familiar with how you can use our 8 digital engagement tools, there are many ways these tools can be used to support and increase online engagement, or to be used to host a 'digital event'.

This digital event/webinar is hosted by Anna Kelderman and Max Hardy.

We hope to showcase how easy this is to do, and perhaps you might consider this approach for an upcoming engagement.

Feature Tool

Led by Anna and Max, this webinar event (via Zoom) will focus on SMS, and how it can be integrated with our 'Quickpoll' and 'Guestbook' tools.

Experience firsthand what this looks like as a participant, and then join our small group discussions to explore this approach in more detail.

To get the full experience of this webinar, we will need your mobile phone number on registration. This will allow us to send you messages and questions to participate.

When

Friday 1 May at 11.30am (AEST)

What do I need to do?

Register and allocate time in your diary for the webinar.

If you have registered, join us via your Zoom meeting link.
If you have NOT registered, you can keep an eye on this page, as our SMS text activities will display the results on this page (please refresh)
You can also watch our short video (RHS) to see what this looks like from a users/participants perspective.

If you have a questions you can ask us here
If you would like more information about EHQ or SMS engagement you can book in a 1:1 demo here.

How could SMS be used in a community engagement process ?

We have been exploring how SMS messaging could be used as part of your overall engagement process.

Share you ideas and thoughts about how you might use it to send notification messages, ask a 'quick poll' question, or ask and open ended question. How else might you use this emerging technology?

Thank you Anna, Max, Dan and Nicole for this session! Sorry my internet connection is really bad today and I can't hear the conversation clearly. I will tune in again if there is any recording. But I agree that SMS is a great engagement too in today's world when we are flooded with a lot of noise from WhatsApp. SMS is clearer with shorter, more direct messages. It cuts out all the unnecessary information. Thank you for hosting this! Yanling, Singapore

I like the chat function. But specifically for our work it would be handy to contact people in a specific area or 'focus group' to gain responses

Sending out reminders, quick polls during town meetings.

Imagine quite a few ways. Maybe when distance & timing an issue

Invites to a workshop and reminders. Polling working groups. Construction notifications, not really deep engagement, but very handy if people sign up for notifications
